The 2010 Winewise Small Vigneron Awards have just been announced and Tassell Park Wines Margaret River is thrilled to have received six major medals from this national event.

Now in its twenty-first year, the Awards were judged in Canberra on 1-3 July 2010 by one of Australia's most experienced panels, including respected wine critic and wine writer James Halliday AM, and chaired by prominent Australian wine judge Lester Jesberg (WinewiseMagazine editor).
The Awards recognize excellence in boutique winemaking, the heart and soul of the Australian wine industry. The Awards are open only to producers who crushed 250 tonnes or less in 2010 - here at Tassell Park Wines we produce less than 50 tonnes so our wonderful Margaret River wines are really proving their quality on the national stage. The Awards pioneered judging wines in small regional groupings so that distinct regional styles are encouraged.
This year's event attracted a record 1500 entries.
